Last night was the official launch of the website “Jane Austen in Nova Scotia,” created and maintained by Anne Thompson, Regional Coordinator for the Nova Scotia Region of the Jane Austen Society of North America (JASNA).
There’s information on the site about upcoming events in Halifax, including next Friday’s lecture by Alistair Duckworth, author of The Improvement of the Estate: A Study of Jane Austen’s Novels and Professor Emeritus at the University of Florida.
Hi – Im a JASNA member from Vancouver and so pleased to find your lovely website. It is so nice to see what your region is doing, and should I ever be so fortunate as to visit Halifax one of these days, I shall definitely see if there is a meeting that I could attend – it will certainly feel as though I am among friends!
